Past
Continuous Tense
We use past continuous in a situation which
states an action was continuing at a period of time in the past. (Situation:
Yesterday Milton and Rokey played tennis. They began at 10 o’clock and finished at
11:30. At 10:30 they were playing tennis.
Example:
1.This time
last year I was teaching at FM method.
2.I saw you
in the street yesterday. You were chatting your friends and drinking tea.
3.I hurt my
leg while I was working in the garden.
